A Nice Life
During my annual reflection of my life, I'm glad to say that it's been a good year, and I'm fairly happy with the life I'm living right now. Though I will admit that for the most part, I detest my job, the rest of my life is pretty happy. Dave's chugging along in school, we have a nice home, two (for the most part) good dogs, a reliable car, and no debt. We have a lot of nice things, and we've been lucky enough to be able to time the purchases in a way that allowed us to pay for them outright. We don't have a lot of money, but we pay our bills, feed ourselves, and sometimes have enough leftover to treat ourselves. I also got promoted (I'm an
New Life in Washington
For starters, my detour to California took a couple months longer than I expected; I was sent to more school in the middle of nowhere, Lemoore, CA. It sucked. But we've been in Washington for several months now, and it's great. We love it here, at least so far. We ended up getting another dog about a week before we left Florida. She is Pixel, a pointer mix, about a year and a half old, and she's been great for Cyrus.

Hey! Look! I got premium again! That means I must be planning to do things on this place again! Yay!
Yup, it's true. I'm planning my triumphant return... But it'll be after I move.... Move where? To Whidbey Island, Washington, of course! That is where I'm being stationed, and I can't wait! I graduate from this school January 17th, and so I'll be leaving around then. Dave and I plan to take a detour to California to visit the family before we head up to Washington. He's just as excited as I am to get out of this apartment, and into a nicer one. Truth be told, Florida just isn't for us, but we're hoping Washington will be.

Life Update
So last time I updated, I'd just started night classes; well I finished those at the end of September, and since then, I was on a hold of sorts, doing whatever work they wanted me to do in the meantime. Still busy as heck, but at the same time, doing nothing. It's weird how the military works. Anyway, I started classes for my actual job a couple weeks ago, and it looks like I'll be graduating and leaving this place January 17th. I'll find out within the next two weeks where I'll be going from there. Could be Cali, Washington, another part of Florida, or... the dreaded Virginia. Not that Virginia's a bad place, it's just that no one wants to g
